What
do you know about fiber multiplexer? Application, function and how to choose fiber
multiplexer?
Fiber multiplexer is an optical
fiber communication device that extends data transmission. It uses signal
modulation, photoelectric conversion and other technologies to achieve the
purpose of long-distance transmission. Fiber multiplexers are generally used in
pairs, which are divided into transmitters and receivers. The transmitting end
completes the conversion of electrical to optical signal, and transmits the
optical signal for optical fiber transmission; the receiver restores the
optical signal received from the optical fiber to an electrical signal, and
completes the optical to electrical conversion. The entire transmission system
consists of three parts: light source (transmitting end), transmission medium,
and detector (receiving end).
Therefore, the role of fiber multiplexer is mainly
reflected in two aspects:
1. The fiber multiplexer can convert
multiple E1 signals into optical signals at the same time, and then transmit
them out. E1 signal refers to a data transmission standard, which is mostly
used in China and European countries. The fiber multiplexer can transmit 4032
E1 signals at most at the same time, and at least 4 at the same time.
2. The fiber multiplexer can be used in the
transmission equipment of the optical communication system to convert the
photoelectricity and transmit it out. This function is particularly widely used
in life, and is more common in many industries such as monitoring, power,
telecommunications, and video transmission. Make a great contribution to our
lives.
Classification:
RS232/V.35
over fiber converter ( Fiber modem)
E1 over
fiber multiplexer
1/4/8/16 channels E1 over fiber multiplexer,
E1 port has 2 kinds of interfaces: 120ohm (RJ45 interface) or 75ohm (BNC
interface). Only one of the E1 ports on the 4E1/8E1/16E1 fiber multiplexer can
be selected. Optical fiber transmission distance (0-120km optional) SC, FC or
ST optical port (optional); if LC optical port is required, the product can be
made into SFP port and then optical module.
Can
also bring additional features:
1~4 channels 100M (or
Gigabit) Ethernet (optional)
1~4 RS232 (or RS485)
serial port data (optional)
1 way orderwire phone (optional) with
Console management (optional) with SNMP management (optional)
Dual
power supply AC 220V + DC 48V, or AC+AC, DC+DC (usually single power supply,
dual power supply will be more expensive)
Telephone
over fiber multiplexer:
1/2/4/8/16/30/32/60/256/360 channels POTs
over fiber multiplexer POTs = Voice = Telephone = FXS/FXO. There are two kinds
of ordinary telephone ports: FXS port or FXS port (both are RJ45 ports, but you
can also plug in telephone lines with RJ11 ports). Use in a pair: Generally,
one device has an FXS port and another device has an FXO port (one device can also
have both FXS ports and FXO ports). Optical fiber transmission distance
(0-120km optional) ,SC, FC or ST optical port (optional); if LC optical port is
required, the product can be made into SFP port and then optical module.
Can
be equipped with other functions:
1~4 channels 100M (or
Gigabit) Ethernet
1~4 RS232 (or RS485)
serial port data
Telephone port supports 2-wire (2 E&M
wire) or 4-wire (4 E&M wire) telephone with Console management and SNMP
management
1+1 fiber protection, usually 1 fiber port,
dual power supply, AC 220V + DC 48V, or AC+AC, DC+DC (usually single power
supply)
Video/audio
over fiber multiplexer
1/2/4/8/16 channels Video over fiber
multiplexer used together in 1 pair: 1 device is a transmitter, the other
device is a receiver. Video port: 75ohm BNC interface video. Video is also
divided Ordinary video and high-definition video (HD Video). Optical fiber
transmission distance (0-120km optional), FC optical port.
Can
be equipped with other functions:
1~4 channels 100M

1~4 phone
1~4 channels audio,
dual power supply AC 220V + DC DC48V, or AC+AC, DC+DC (usually single power
supply DC48V)
