INFORMATION
Fiber optic mechanical splice is to hold two optical fibers together precisely so that light can pass through the fiber. The fiber is aligned and held in place by a self contained assembly. The installation of the fiber mechnical splice is simple, need not expensive equipment. All what needed are a stripper, a cleaver and isopropyl alcohol.
Be applied to connect φ0.25--φ0.9 fiber/cable; take advantage of mature V-groove technologies, suitable for single mode and multimode; No fixture, operation time less than 1 minute; better performance.
