1. Overview
BD-ONT-802RWT-H is designed as HGU (Home Gateway Unit) in deferent FTTH solutions by, The carrier-class FTTH application provides data service access. The XPON ONU is based on mature and stable, cost-effective XPON technology. It can switch automatically with EPON and GPON when it access to the EPON OLT or GPON OLT. The G/EPON dual mode onu adopts high reliability, easy management, configuration flexibility and good quality of service (QoS) guarantees to meet the technical performance of the module of China Telecom EPON CTC3.0 and GPON Standard of ITU-TG.984.X
BD-ONT-802RWT-H is designed by Realtek chipset 9602C, provide one GE (1000M), one FE (100M), CATV, wifi ports.

Question: Does the XPON ONU 1GE 1FE CATV WiFi support PPPOE? I don't find the configuration menu in web management.
Answer: The ONU can support PPPOE. You need to login the web management by super account (the account is only for management):

Question: Does the onu need decoder or Stb to connect to tv or it connects directly?
Answer: The XPON CATV ONU have two kinds ports, one is ethernet port (1GE+1FE) and CATV port. So the onu can support IPTV and CATV.
If your application is CATV, you can directly connect to our ONU CATV port.
If your application is IPTV, you need decoder (STB) connecting to the ethernet port.
Question: One of our clients is using an access system based on TR069 and they need to authenticate the ONUs only by Serial Number instead of Loid.With current ONU it does not allow this configuration, it can only be done by loid. Do you know if the BAUDCOM gpon catv+wifi ONU allows authenticating by Serial Number?
Answer: Yes, our GPON ONU can support the authentication by serial number.
Question: Can ONU be equipped with a UPS battery?
Answer: Yes, it can, but needs to be charged additionally.
